We are driven by a fury of compassion, an unstoppable kindness, a militant humanity for which we will kill.

Our enemies will tremble when they see the passion with which we love our friends.

History tells us that the price of freedom is sometimes death, and we are going to help people to pay that price, so that they may be free.

America is a friend to the people of Iraq. Our demands are directed only at the regime that enslaves them and threatens us. When these demands are met, the first and greatest benefit will come to Iraqi men, women and children. George W. Bush

We want the peoples of the world to be free, because once they are free, they will reflect our love to them, and that will promote our security, and enable us to visit yet more compassion on the world.

Hundreds of thousands of American servicemen and women are deployed across the world in the war on terror. By bringing hope to the oppressed, and delivering justice to the violent, they are making America more secure. George W. Bush

So we must be armed to the teeth, so that we can show other nations how to be free, because free nations have no wish to be armed to the teeth.

So we know that our war will be welcomed by those who value freedom: at least, those who survive. And if our war will be welcomed by those who love peace, then those who do not welcome it must be the enemies of peace.
